Belfast Cottage

Project Description

Downeast Homes was asked take over this project from another contractor who had built the exterior. Downeast Homes added insulation, electric, plumbing, drywall and all interior finishes. Downeast Homes also built a deck with cable railings to keep the ocean view open so the homeowners can enjoy it whether they are inside and out on the deck. In addition, Downeast Homes added insulation, electricity and plumbed the upstairs to ready it for a possible future expansion.

"…Because we would be 1200 miles away while our home was being completed, we needed to work with someone who was a good communicator. We inquired among local suppliers and Jay at Downeast Homes was highly recommended...ultimately we chose him from five contractors we interviewed. "

Jay impressed us because he asked so many questions and sought out the details of what we wanted so he could provide us with an accurate estimate. Jay worked closely with us to provide the details and finishes we wanted.
